Your limits.In your menu bar.
A Mac menu bar app for Claude Code and Codex usage limits, and how it compares with the other options.
01What a usage-limit menu bar app should do
Claude Code has /usage and Codex has /status, but both only answer inside a running session. A menu bar app keeps the remaining share of your 5-hour and weekly windows visible while you work, so a long task never starts on an almost empty limit.
02RRemaining in short
RRemaining shows remaining Claude Code and Codex usage next to the clock. You choose which limits appear, icons or short names, 5h / 1w labels on or off, and one of three text sizes. It reads the windows through the official local Codex and Claude Code tools, keeps everything on your Mac and costs 1 € once.
It needs macOS 14 or newer. Installation and compatibility notes.
03How it compares

04Which one fits you
If you use many AI providers and want spend and credit tracking, a broad tool like CodexBar or ClaudeBar covers more ground. If you only use Claude Code and Codex and want a small, calm meter that shows exactly the limits you care about, RRemaining is built for that.
